Job Description

Role and Responsibility

  • Serve as a critical link between chain Pharmacies, Pharmacy Director, and General Manager.
  • Supervise the day-to-day operation of pharmacies services.
  • Ensure sourcing medicines from a licensed supplier to guarantee that the requirements of safety, quality and efficacy are upheld and the risk of counterfeit stock entering the supply chain is eliminated.
  • Assure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements for supply chain operation.
  • Purchase all medicinal products, cosmetics, consumable products, and home health care products.
  • Responsible for the generation of a summary reports on supplier relationships, procurement, hub warehousing, inventory management, and distribution.

Job Requirements

Requirement

  • BPharm in Pharmacy plus MSc in health supply chain management/ MA in logistics from recognized and qualified higher Education institution
  • 5 years and above experience in community Pharmacy out of which 2 years and above as a procurement, forecasting and quantification officer, and manager
  • Demonstrate experience on pharmaceutical products revolved in the country
  • Has experience in supplier communicate
  • on (National & International), sourcing, and negotiation
  • Demonstrate experience maintaining with empathy an appropriate balance between the organization’s needs and the welfare of staff.
  • Demonstrate experience in data retrieval and analysis
  • Experience of partnering with and influencing/bargaining with supplier
  • Demonstrate expertise in delivering briefings to diverse audiences, and conducting effective meetings with management, representatives of staff associations etc.
